My name is Isaac Zarate, and I am a photographer based out of Olathe, Kansas. I have been shooting photos for over five years and building experience in other areas such as graphic design and video editing along side it. I got my first camera when I was in high school as a gift from my mother. With that camera I started out shooting pictures of the daisies in my backyard and slowly learned every in and out there is to taking a photograph. This would go on to change my life, consuming every hour of my day and every ounce of my attention.
From photographing weddings, shooting product photography, taking formal portraiture and more, my years of practice have taught me that hands-on experience is an invaluable tool when it comes to learning the art of photography. With that being said, photography is more than a job, it is my passion. With passion, one never stops attempting to improve upon their skill. This is why I am currently studying photography through courses at my local college. Using both the technical skills gained during this time and the years of experience garnered before, I am confident in my ability to capture any event or occasion in a way that is both efficient and breathtaking.
My goal is to end with a result that leaves you happy with not just the product but the experience as a whole, and I will make it an effort to make sure this is accomplished. As for the technical side of things, I currently use a Sony A7 III and edit my photos using Adobe Lightroom. The A7 III is a high end mirrorless camera that delivers results I am confident in. Depending on the occasion, I may also use a Canon DSLR camera with a telephoto (zoom) lens in combination with the Sony. In short, the gear I use is up to date and capable of capturing that decisive moment. What began as a gift is now so much more; a passion honed into a skill, a gift turned into a career. I aim to share this love of art and photography with everyoneno job is too big or too small. I hope to work with you in the future and thank you for considering me as your photographer/editor of choice.
